Are you looking for a community service project for the fall for school or your service club? We can help! The Purple Purse Challenge is a month-long fundraising challenge in October from the Allstate Foundation for domestic violence programs across the country. Last year, $4.6 million was raised by over 200 organizations. The Center placed 9th nationally and won and raised a little over $74,000 for services for the survivors of domestic violence.
The Purple Purse Challenge is easy to do and engages family, friends and classmates in the process.
And because The Center doesn’t charge for services, money raised goes to services for survivors and their children and makes an immediate impact.
