#EverydayAdvocates are everyday people whose actions help change culture. Helping survivors of domestic or sexual violence isn’t hard! There are many ways you can support survivors, from educating yourself to volunteering to donating to practicing good self-care and encouraging others to do the same. Here are 31 ways you can be an #EverydayAdvocate this month.

- Print out one of our service flyers to hang up at your workplace, school, place of worship, or elsewhere.

- Sign up to receive our e-news – If you are already on the list, ask a friend to join our mailing list.
- Self-care Sunday! Check out our empowerment music playlist on Spotify! What kind of music makes you feel empowered?
- Is your relationship healthy? Take the Healthy Relationship Quiz.
- Carry one of our purple info cards in your wallet or purse.
- Shop our Amazon Wish List and have a needed item sent right to the Center.
- Educate yourself on how you can support someone experiencing domestic or intimate partner violence – check out our info here.

- Read Rise: How a House Build a Family by Cara Brookins.
- Self-care Sunday! Spend some time outdoors today! Talk a walk outside, visit Bernheim Forest or find a park near you.
- RSVP to attend a Meet The Center on October 22 or November 26 and learn more about what we do. Invite a friend to join you!
- Attend the Speak Their Name event on October 15 at 12 noon in Jefferson Square Park, Louisville. If you can’t attend in person watch it on Facebook Live.

- Attend a restaurant partner night tonight at Recbar or another day this week at a participating restaurant.
- Share the #EverydayAdovcate: Give fundraiser link and info with other via email or a social media post.

- Donate an item to the Nick Rodman Legacy Foundation Drive. They are hosting the entire month of October to benefit The Center. You can drop off donations at any LMPD Division Location.
- Join us at Garage Bar for a night to benefit The Center.
