Gather with staff, volunteers, and friends of The Center at one of two starting points - Big Four Station Park (Indiana) or Waterford Park (Kentucky) to walk and share messages that condemn sexual violence and support survivors of this crime. Participants will make signs and banners at 11:30 a.m. The walk will begin at noon.
Come out and enjoy brunch at The Garage Bar. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to The Center for Women and Families.
Show your support for survivors of sexual assault by writing encouraging messages on sidewalks and other outdoor spaces during Chalk the Walk Week. Wear Teal this week and/or on Teal Tuesday (April 9) to bring awareness to the prevalence of sexual violence in our world.
Enjoy music from local bands and support jewelers, painters, and other artists at vendor booths. A portion of proceeds from inhouse sales will be donated to The Center. This outdoor festival will be held at Fistful of Ale.
